The coach house is a 2 storey rubble building partly repaired in red brick. Probably
early C19.
Gable end to street. Slate roof with wooden finial at apex. Blocked oculus below.
1st floor has a modern window. Ground floor retains a (blocked) segmental brick
carriage arch with keystone. The entry is mostly filled by a later wood lintel
supporting a semi-circular window head with intersecting glazing bars. Double
wooden doors below and modern door to left. Side elevation to house is altered
but retains a pointed doorway at 1st floor level. Garden wall runs back to join
the corner of the house and has a C16 archway in Ham Hill stone with carved spandrels.

No 1; gatepiers gates and railings at No 1 ; former coach house and garden wall at
No 1 and No 3 form a group with No 41 Fore Street.
