GV II

House with inserted shop. Early C19 and early C20 shopfront. Rendered, raised
quoins, Welsh slate roof, brick stacks, right return hung with West Somerset
slates. 3-storeys, 4-bays; windows set in slightly raised surrounds with
rusticated voussoirs, sashes with glazing bars first floor and modern windows
above. Depressed arch opening right to courtyard, rusticated surround. Part of
premises of shop listed as No 2A Silver Street (qv). Interior: first floor room
contains 2 panels of plasterwork decoration, c1700, oval garlands with cherubs
heads, probably reset as ends nearest window have been cut.
