ST0827 WIVELISCOMBE CP HIGH STREET (East side)

8/73 No 15 and railings

GV II

House. Dated 1829. Rendered, steeply pitched slate roof, slate hung on left
return elevation. 3-storeys over basement, one bay wide. Sash windows with
glazing bars and late C19 shopfront. Access to door by cantilevered stone steps
secured by cast-iron support. Spear-headed cast-iron railings at street level.
Second floor keystone of window inscribed "J.I.Y. 1829". Primarily included for
group value with other buildings on East side of High Street.
