4/100 Hill House, and linhay to East



House, now divided, with attached linhay to East. C17, with early C19 additions.
Render, quoins distinguish left-hand 2 bays with more steeply pitched slate roof
then right-hand corrugated iron one, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 2:4 bays;
left-hand bays C20 casements and French window with raised surrounds and
keystone, irregularly placed casements right; entrance to left-hand dwelling in
first bay of right-hand dwelling, modern door; third bay of left-hand dwelling
contains plank door entrance. C20 single storey glazed extension on left-hand
two bays. Interior: reputedly contains 2 good stud and panel walls, one on right
of cross passage, another dividing the 2 rooms ground floor left, and chamfered
beams distinguishing Hall probably with chamber over and service room to right.
Linhay: random rubble with rounded piers, 3 bays, slate roof. (VAG Report,
