Cottage. C17, remodelled mid C20. Red sandstone random rubble, thatched roof, external rendered stack left. 2-storeys,
two bays; irregularly placed 2-3-and 4-light casements, ground floor windows with wooden lintels. Left return
elevation, entrance to right of external stack, approached by steps, 3-light casement above, pantiled bread oven
projection, 2-light casement ground floor, 4-light above, both under wooden lintels, C20 flat roof at rear. A spring
rises beneath the C20 extension. Interior: The ground floor room contains 3 moulded beams ending in diamond stops,
perhaps once a 4 compartment ceiling.
