10/24 Chest tomb, 1 metre South of the
chancel, Church of St Mary

Chest tomb. Unidentified. Mid C17. Ham stone. Bombe sided chest tomb on moulded plinth with inscription frieze eroded
away on all faces except North which reads "day of January anno dommini 1651". Flat topped with coat of arms in
cartouche with scroll resting on a demi-tetrahedron support. An impressive chest tomb in a prominent position.
