Chest tomb, mid C17. Ashlar sandstone. Ledge topped, moulded cornice. Apsidal ends, shield in cartouche East end, skull
and cross bones above hour glass framed by scythes West end. Inscribed Northside to Mary, wife of William Byam, died
1648; Southside illegible. Partially subsided and obscured by ivy at time of survey (March 1983). One of the finest
chest tombs in the district.
