House. Early C17. Red sandstone random rubble, facade painted rubble and render, thatched roof, brick stacks. One and a
half storeys, four bays; C20 2- and 3-light casements with segmental heads in gabled bay; left half of facade breaks
forward with single storey outer bay, gabled second bay left, second bay right four centred arch doorway with plank and
stud door, outer bay gabled dormer and casement to left below. Extension on right return elevation. Interior: reputedly
contains water pebble floored cross passage, hall to right with hollow chamfered beam 4 compartment ceiling with small
plaster details, incomplete plaster frieze. Partition cuts ceiling with newel stair behind, to left of modern grate.
