Cross. Probably C14. Red sandstone. Remains of octagonal shaft with concave broaches, 660mm in height set in chamfered
socket, 760 x 940mm. Pooley, Old Crosses of Somerset, 1877 shows a lower stage which is probably now concealed beneath
the earth.
