(Police Cottages)



Pair of cottages. Early C19. Red sandstone random rubble masonry, quoins, slate roof, decorative ridge tiles, brick
stacks left and right. 2-storeys, irregularly placed fenestration; first floor left 16 pane sash window, 4 pane and 12
pane sash window, ground floor two 16 pane sash windows set to right of respective entrances all with rusticated
voussoirs. Doors set to left of respective ground floor windows, panelled 3x3, with square headed 3-light openings
above. Slate-hung gable end (South side) with decorative pierced barge boards.
