GV II

Farmhouse, now 2 cottages and barn used as garage. Late C16, altered possibly C18 and mid/late C19. Cottages roughcast,
Bridgwater patent tiled roof, overhanging eaves with sprockets, brick stacks left gable end and centre left. Plan:
probably 2 cell and cross passage remaining of 3 cell and cross passage farmhouse, the adjoining barn is possibly the
remains of the third cell. One and a half storeys, 1:2 bays; all late C19 3-light casements, 3 gabled dormers rising
from below eaves, ground floor left casement, inserted plank door, projecting full height bay with catslide roof and
inserted 2-light casement thought to be a stair turret, casement right and chamfered depressed arched doorcase with
plank door in end bay, the original entrance. Interior not seen. Abutting, slightly projecting, open ended barn,
approximately 4 bays; random rubble, red brick on facade, hipped pantiled roof, king post construction. This may
incorporate the original crossing end of the farmhouse.
