Milestone. Early Cl9. Limestone and cast iron. Square headed stone with
attached shaped plaque inscribed '4 miles to Taunton'. About 400m high
and in poor condition at time of survey (March 1984), The road to
Broomfield from 'The George Inn' Taunton was turnpiked in 1752.
