Walls enclosing garden on North and East side. Early C18 partly renewed mid C20. Red brick, Flemish bond, random
rubble plinth, brick and Ham stone coping, about 2.5 metres high. Plan: North and East side if rectangular kitchen
garden. North wall about 50 metres in length, part forming tha boundary wall of Cedar Gables, (not included), wall
swept down over square headed doorway, more courses of brickwork subsequently added.East wall about 70 metres in
length, at North end single span opening; square gatepiers, with +in stone ball finials, cyma recta moulded cornice,
scroll topped revertments and moulded coping to plinth, similar design to those at Bucklard House, Durston (qv), much
overgrown with ivy at time of survey (March 1984). About 20 metres South, square projection, with brick coping about 3m
high probably a gazebo or summer house; renewed upper courses and coping of all, double gate opening, about 20 metres
beyond, Southern gatepier rebuilt, no ball finials, C20 double gate; wall continued South to The Lodge (not included)
and swept flown, upper courses of brick work and coping renewed. This was formerly the kitchen garden to Norton Court
(qv).
