Farmhouse. Early C17, altered mid-late C19. Roughcast over rubble, string course and plinth, steeply pitched plain clay
tile roof, coped verges with kneelers, brick stacks gable ends and to left of cross passage. Plan: 3 cell and
crosspassage with full height porch, extension at rear. 2 storeys, 2:1:2 bays, full height gabled porch with coped
verges and kneelers, all late C19 casements, first floor 4-light with 3-light in porch, ground floor three 3-light to
left of porch, right 4-light with inserted C20 French windows beyond, elliptical headed opening to porch, flat string
decoration in manner of half timbering above, C17 5 x 4 framed inner door with moulded architrave and quatrefoil
decoration to stops. Left return, inserted C20 glazed door, lean-to clay tiled projection to left with 3-light
casement, stair or curing chamber. Interior only partially sighted: room to left of cross passage contains 6-panel
compartment ceiling with plasterwork decoration of winged cherubs and leaves on the panels, C18 dog leg stair with
turned balusters and moulded handrail, and another framed door at rear of cross passage.
