House, undergoing conversion to old people's home at time of survey (May 1984), Early C19 incorporating part of
earlier dwelling, altered late C20. Roughcast over rubble, dressed store plinth, added cornice with small, unidentified
coat of arms centre, centre bay breaks forward slightly, hipped slate roof, brick stacks right return, Double pile with
service wing at rear containing evidence of earlier dwelling on site. Two storeys, 2:1:2 bays; first floor 12-pane sash
windows, ground floor long 6-pane sash windows, central segmental headed recess with half-lazed double floors, side
lights and fanlight, flat roofed wooden Doric porch renewed. Interior: stick stair with cut string and mahogany
handrail, chamfered beams in room at rear, probably Cl7.
