Farmhouse. C16-C17, altered subsequently. Squared and coursed local grey sandstone, thatched roof hipped to left,
triple Roman tiled outshot addition adjoining slate roofed cross wing with brick stack gable end, brick stack to right
of cross passage, right and left probably marking end of original structure. Plan: possibly 3-cell and cross passage
with cross wing off kitchen, extended either end. One and a half storeys, 1:1:3 bays, 4-light ovolo moulded mullioned
window rising from eaves set to left of cross wing with 12-pane sash window, right three 8-pane sash windows rising
from below eaves, ground floor left masked by outshut addition with 3 C20 windows, 2-light in cross wing, to right of
entrance 4 and 2-light steeply chamfered mullioned windowsi C17-C18 plank door end bay right, C20 part glazed door with
C20 glazed slate roofed porch. Interior partially seen: 4-panel compartment ceiling with steeply chamfered beams in
hall, possible jointed cruck roof. The house may contain other features of interest.
