House and attached coach house. Early C19. Roughcast over rubble, plinth, hipped slate roof, overhanging eaves, soffit
board with paired shallow brackets, brick stacks rising from eaves on returns. Plan: double pile flanked by about 5
metres of wall, left with blind semi-circular head niche, right with doorway and adjoining coach house projecting
forward. Two storeys, 3 bays, central bay breaks forward; first floor 20-pane sash windows, ground floor 25-pane sash
windows, central semi-circular headed opening with paired wooden columns carrying wooden arch, 2 steps up to recessed
semi-circular headed doorway, fanlight, double doors half-glazed with marginal glazing bars. Coach house; two storeys,
one bay; 2-light unglazed windows above depressed archway, double doors. A fine doorcase and an imposing presence in
the square.
