Milepost. 1860. Cast iron. Triangular in plan, hollow in section, sloping top, inscribed in raised letters north face "Honiton 13 3/8", southface "Taunton 5". Inscribed on plinth with the name of the iron founder, Allen and Co,Taunton.
Part of a good collection of cast iron mileposts on the Taunton to Honiton road.
