Listing Text

Heathfield Lodge
House. 1840s, enlarged c1930. Rendered over brick, hipped slate roof, overhanging eaves
with soffit board, brick stacks rising from eaves. Double pile with 2 bay addition to
left (not of special interest). Two storeys, 3 hays;16-pine sash windows; central
panelled double doors with inserted lights, panelled reveals, fanlight with radiating
bars cut by flat roofed porch with paired Doric columns, panelled soffit. Two bay right
return, partly of painted brick. The house does not appear on the tithe map dated 1840.
