3/1 Boundry post at NGR ST 0327 2458
County boundary post. Dated 1910, resited 1970s. Iron founder C W Harris of Chewton Mendip. Cast iron. V-shape in plan, hollow in section, about 720mm high with sloping top inscribed: "Boundry 1910"; east face inscribed vertically: "Somerset" and horizontally on plinth: "C W Harris"; west face inscribed vertically: "Devon" and horizontally on plinth: Chewton Mendip". The boundary post was resited when the A361 was embanked.
