Farmhouse, now derelict and used as agricultural store. Probably mid C17 enlarged
one bay east soon after, refenestrated and enlarged one bay west early C19. Roughcast
over rubble and cob, wall in end bay set at a slight angle, slate roof, stone stacks left
of cross passage, gable end right, and between first and second bays right. Plan:
2-cell and cross passage with coeval outshots enlarged with a new kitchen to right of earlier
one, store with bedroom over added left gable end. Two storeys, 5 bays, first floor 16-pane sash
window, ground floor left blind opening in gabled porch. Much overgrown at time of survey
(June 1985) with large hole below eaves exposing crumbling cob wall between second and
third bays left. Interior not accessible: said to contain left of cross passage another
plastered beam and rod and daub screen to rear wall with evidence to suggest that there was a
drying kiln in outshot, also evidence of curing chamber beside fireplace in kitchen addition
