House. Possibly C16, much altered C17 and late C19. R.H brick (English garden band)
on ashlar plinth and bank over ground floor; tiled roofs, coped verge to left.
1 storey and attic; 3 bays to front, 2-light casements, with alternate triangular and
semi-circular gables (stone-dressed) to half-dormers of attic; large brick chimney to
right of centre. T-plan rear extension with substantial timber-frame exposed in gable
end: tension braces to upper panel. Interior: cruck embodied to left of centre of
main structure.
