16.6.53 West terrace and steps

Country House, now 3 separate residences. Dated 1689 on
bath wings but altered and restored in the C19 after a fire.
Red brick with sandstone plinth and quoins; hipped clay tile
roofs; brick end stacks. U shaped. 2 storey main range
with floor band and central pediment containing the Wrottesley
coat of arums, and projecting single storey wings on basements.
2:2:3:2:2 windows; glazing bar sashes with horns and moulded
stone surrounds; central door with fanlight and hood on
console brackets approached by a flight of steps; flight of
steps to left leading to a small terrace.
