House, previously two cottages. Late C16 with later alterations. Cruck
framed, rendered brickwork, brown machine tiled roof and ridge stack off
centre left. Lobby entrance plan, possibly formerly cross passage type.
Two storey, three bay, three window front, with entrance under stack. C20
casements and door. Exposed truncated cruck on gable end; eaves now raised
beyond cruck purlins. Interior: Further exposed cruck truss with wall
framing at first floor level in adjacent bay to gable end. Re-used,
brattished firehood beam over deep fire recess. C19 details throughout in
bay to left of entrance.
