SJ 83 SW 9/109 Church of St Chad
1894. Architect: Basil Champneys. Late Gothic, freely treated in style and
very successful. Stone with tiled roof. Of cruciform plan with low central
tower. Chancel, crossing and porch stone vaulted. Good, but restrained, interior
with some Kempe glass.
