C17 in origin, refashioned early C19 and with later alterations; 2 storeys
plus attic, the ground storey engraved cement and sham timber frame, and plaster
above to earlier timber frame exposed internally; projecting gabled bay on
right-hand side; 3 casement windows; 3 canted bay windows; wood pilaster doorcase
with pediment and rectangular fanlight; massive stone chimney on south side;
plain eaves; tiles. Cement rendered 2 storey wing at rear. Interior has much
exposed timber-framing, moulded ceiling beams in principal rooms and oak splat
baluster staircase.
