Probably of C17 origin. Estate cottage remodelled circa 1905, probably by Sir
Guy Dawber. Sham timber frame and roughcast to earlier timber frame; 2 storeys;
2 casement windows breaking above eaves with gables; ground storey has a plain
doorway with wood rustic gabled porch and a 3-light wood mullioned window at either
side; gabled ends with plain bargeboards; sprocket eaves; central stack with diagonal
shafts; tiles.
