Prospect House
SJ 93 NW 6/20 25.9.79.

Late C18 with later alterations. Red brick; 2 storeys; L-shaped plan; 2 C19 casement
windows with segmental heads; C19 wood doorcase with plain rectangular fanlight,
4-panelled door and gabled rustic wood porch. Lower 2 storey wing on left-hand
side has 2 windows (one modern) and later doorway with modern brick porch; toothed
brick eaves; modern tile roof. Interior altered but retains exposed ceiling beams
in the principal rooms; original turned baluster staircase, and panelled oak doors
throughout. Attached early C19 outbuilding on north side. The house has modern
alterations at rear.
