SK 1810-1910 ELFORD C.P. THE SQUARE (South-east side)

10/79 Elford Post Office
GV II

House incorporating shop. C18 remodelling of a C16 building with C20
alterations. Red brick replacing earlier timber framing; plain tile
roof. One storey and attic; irregular fenestration but roughly 3 bays,
2 C20 casements to left with segmental heads, 3 C20 gabled dormers, C20
glazed door to right of centre, C20 shop front and alley door to the
right. Interior: one pair of crucks with Alcock apex type C. Alcock
p. 155.
