and railed enclosure
approx. 5m east
of chancel of Church
of St. Bartholomew

Pedestal tomb and railed enclosure. Robert Ashmall, died 1810. Stone.
Square base rising on two moulded steps; die has oval inscription plaques
and fluted frieze under reeded surbase inscribed above "D. WILMOT,
LICH". Fluted urn finial; square railed enclosure 1.5m high on stone
plinth: urn standards at centre and angles, spearhead elsewhere. Robert
Ashmall was the owner of Farewell Hall (q.v.).
