Hackney stable and smithy. Early C19. Red brick on stone plinth. Tiled roofs on eaves band.

In two parts: hackney stable to south of single storey with hay loft over, the south gable has a hay loft door to apex and stable door to left side, both with segmental heads.

West side has four small openings at different levels; the smithy is attached (of one build) to north, of similar length but eaves set approx. 1300mm lower. Stack now missing. Segmental headed entry to centre of west side; forge now removed. Forms part of a complete farm group built for the Swinfen estate.
