House. Early C18. Red brick with stone quoins and flush stone band
at first floor level and plinth; hipped tile roof; massive side stacks
with 2 and 3 diagonally set shafts above eaves level. Almost square
plan. Two-storey and attic five window front; two flat-headed dormers
over segmental-headed, mullioned and transomed casements. Central
entrance with moulded surround and consoles to low pediment; overlight
and 6 flush panelled door. The garden front is similarly complete
and the side elevation to the road blind but dominated by the massive
projecting stack.
