C18, the core probably earlier. A house of blue and red chequered brick
with steep roof of old tiles and good moulded eaves cornice; stone capped
gable ends and stone plinth; 2 storeys; 4 sash windows with plain stone lintels
and moulded rusticated keyblocks and rusticated stone surrounds. Side door
has round head with keyblock inscribed "E R W 1747". 6-panel door in rusticated
surround, with stone lintel with large triple keyblock.
