8/18 The Steps

GV II

House. Early C17. Timber framed on a high brick plinth, with brick
infill panels and some brick rebuilding; plain tile roof; central stack
of engineering panels with straight braces. 2 window front: casements
and gabled attic dormers. Central C20 boarded door with bracketed and
gabled hood, approached by a flight of steps. The left hand gable end
has an overhanging collar and ite beam roof truss incorporating close
studding. Interior not inspected.
