10/34A The Square


Cottage. C17 and C18 largely rebuilt c.1830. Timber-framed and brick. Plain
tile roof with overhanging eaves. 2 brick gable stacks. 2 storey, 3 bay with
4 shallow brick pilasters. Central doorway with reeded wooden door surround,
panel door and overlight. Eitherside are single 3 light glazing bar casements
with segmental brick heads. Above a central similar 2 light window, flanked by
single similar 3 light windows also with segmental brick heads. South gable wall
timber-framed. Rear brick C18 wing. Included for group value only.
