5/53 Crown Bank Cottage

House. Late C17 with later alterations and additions. Timber framed
with plastered infill panels and plastered brick extension; plain tile
roof; brick end stacks. 2-cell plan aligned north-south facing east,
with a single-bay extension to the south, probably C19. 2 storeys:
3 square panels to eaves level, with straight braces. The C17 house
has scattered fenestration, mainly casements, and a C20 door to the left
of centre with a rectangular overlight; possible blocked doorways to left
and right. The brick extension to the left also has casements, the ground
floor one is segmental-headed, Exposed queen strut roof truss to right
hand gable.
