Farmhouse. Probably early C17, considerably restored circa 1870. Red and blue chequered brickwork (Flemish bond) with sandstone ashlar plinth, quoins and dressings; slate roof with stone coping to shaped gables; brick ridge stack and external end stack. Aligned north-east/south-west facing south-west with an irregular north-west elevation. South-west front: three storeys, and an attic within the gable. Three-bays: C19 cross casements with moulded sills and cyma recta moulded dripstone strings; the string over the second floor windows is raised over a lozenge shaped datestone, now indecipherable. Three-light stone mullioned windows to ground floor with rebated surround. C19 doorway to the right with three-centred head. Late C19 wing attached to the right. Two storeys. Two cross casements with straight hoodmoulds to ground floor, and a six-light casement to
the first floor. North-west front: Single-bay projecting gabled wing to the left of two storeys and attic. Four-light chamfer mullioned window to ground floor with rebated surround; C19 cross casements above. Immediately right of the wing are three-storeys of single-light windows; the ground floor one has a rebated surround and is matched by a similar window further to the right. South-east front: Gable of C19 wing to the left. Right of this is the C17 range of three storeys, and three bays of C19 cross casements.
