SK 12 SW 9/6 Hoar Cross Hall


A large mansion set back from road in grounds. 1862-71. Architect, Henry Clutton.
Red brick with slate roof. Jacobean style. Two storeys, with stepped gable and
large mullion and transom windows. The entrance front has 2 square towers with ogee
roofs. Porte cochere to right. Chapel has decoration in late Gothic style,
designed by Bodley.
