Milepost. Early C19. Cast iron. Triangular plan; inclined head set approximately 600mm above ground. Inscribed on head "MARCHINGTON" and on left (east) face "MARCHINGTON / 5½/SUDBURY 5½/ UTTOXETER 9" and on the right face "BURTON 5".
