Cottage. Late C16 or early C17 with C20 additions and alterations. Timber
frame, some now replaced by brickwork painted and rendered to match timber
frame; reed thatched roof, end stack. Single storey and attic; original
frame in square panels of 3 tiers with diagonal braces marking cross walls;
3 bays of original house remain, left end rebuilt in brick and right end
with 2-bay (slightly taller) addition. 2-light casement windows to each
bay with thatched hipped 3-sided single-storey bay window to centre of
original house; thatched gabled porch to right end with boarded door.
