Cottage, formerly a pair of cottages. C17 with later remodelling.
Painted brick to earlier timber frame; plain tile roof; brick integral
end stacks. 2 framed bay lobby entry plan. 1 storey and attic; 2
windows, casements, those to ground floor with segmental heads, tile hung
gabled attic dormers with barge boards; blocked door to left, door to
right, both with segmental heads. Interior: stopped and chamfered
ceiling beams, former inglenook fireplace, square panelled timber framed
partition dividing the 2 bays, timber framed partition on north side of
attic passage; roof truss has tie beam interrupted by 2 vertical posts
to the south, slightly curved central vertical strut above collar, single
pair of purlins and ridge piece.
