GV II

House, wall and railings. Mid C18 with later alterations and additions.
Red brick; plain tile roof; brick integral end stacks and ridge stack.
Main house to left and slightly lower wing to right. Main house: 2
storeys and plain parapet with blind openings, those to right, left and
centre contain painted stone balusters; 5 bays, glazing bar sashes with
shaped lintels, raised keys and aprons; central 2-leaf door, rectangular
overlight and elaborate doorcase with moulded brackets, triple keystone
and entablature. Wing: 2 storeys,reduced proportions to first floor, with
dentilled eaves course; 2 windows, glazing bar sashes, ground floor
windows have shaped lintels and raised keys; door to left; right hand
bay is a later addition. A dwarf wall and wrought iron wavy railings
enclose a small forecourt. Interior not inspected but may be interesting.
