SK 02 SW BLITHFIELD C.P. BLITHFIELD PARK

Hall)

GV II

Lodge. Early C19 with late C20 extensions. Ashlar; cruciform slate
roof with coped verges. Single-cell square plan gabled on all 4 sides.
Gothic style. One storey; one 5-light window with trefoil arched lights
under a square head and returned hood mould, 3 heraldic shields to gable
above; 2 panelled piers to left flanking cast iron railings. C20
extensions to right and rear in a similar style. West front: Central 6-
traceried panel door with moulded surround and hood mould; heraldic shield
over. Bagot Lodge forms a pair with Friary Lodge (q.v.) and flanks one
side of the main drive to Blithfield Hall (q.v.).
