5/11 Hallhill (Formerly listed
27.7.83 as Hall Hill Farmhouse)

Farmhouse. Dated 1838, with earlier rear wing. Coursed rough-faced
stonework; ashlar dressings; blue machine tile roof; (on site at
time of resurvey: July 1984) verge parapets; end stacks. L-shaped
plan with front and farm entrances. Two-storey, widely spaced two-window
front, original cast iron Gothic head casement windows not fitted but
on site at time of resurvey; central entrance; boarded door, block
surround and corbelled hood; datestone to first floor over, inscribed
N Block mullioned windows to rear wing and chamfered beam to
G A interior.
