Parish church. Dated 1837. Coursed stone, block and ashlar dressings
and plinth, blue machine tile roof, verge parapets. Single-cell,
two-bay nave, raised quoins and moulded eaves band, crenellated parapet
to bellcote on west gable, pedimented single-storey porch to south-west
with crocketted pinnacles; round-arched windows with rusticated
surrounds and cornices, round-arched doorway, block imposts and keystone,
boarded door, fanlight over. Bas-relief datestone in hooded surround
with floral embellishments over porch. Venetian East window, moulded
centre arch. Sir George Crewe raised £600 by public subscription to
build the church. (History of Longnor Church).
