5/70 The Grapes (Formerly
- listed as The Grapes Hotel)

House, now inn. Mid C19 front with older core remodelled. Coursed
and dressed stone with painted stone cill strings and parapet/blocking
course; blue machine tile roof, brick end stack on right. Three-storey,
three-window front on plinth; glazing bar sashes with large corbelled
painted-on C19 casement windows to ground floor; stone steps up to
central entrance; pilastered surround, round arch head, corbelled hood,
fanlight and glazed door. Narrow three-storey-high stair window to
rear with three transomes.
