House. Early C17 extended and remodelled in the late C18 and again in the mid to late C19. Coursed and squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, clay tile roof with coped verges on kneelers; ashlar ridge stacks. H-plan; West wing early C17; central range probably mid to late C17; East wing late C18, rear extension to central range mid to late C19. Three storeys; 1:2:1 windows; central range recessed between two gabled crosswings; glazing bar sashes in raised surrounds, those to left replace earlier windows; blocked attic window to left hand (West) wing with lintel dated 1789, which probably refers to the refenestration; C19 three-light ground floor bay to left of main range with casements and leaded hipped roof; first floor C19 tall cross window to left of main range and a small cross window above, both with chamfered mullions and transoms and chamfered surrounds; fixed light glazing bar windows to ground and first floors to right of main range; glazed door to right of centre of main range. Return wall of West crosswing has double window to each floor, all with basket-arch heads; those to ground floor and first floor have chamfered mullions and surrounds and sunken spandrels; that to second floor is partly blocked by the later main range.

North elevation: West wing to right has two ground floor windows, that to right of two-lights with chamfered mullion and rebated surround, that to left slightly higher and with chamfered surround and casement; return wall of wing has blocked chamfered mullioned windows, that to ground floor has three lights, that to first floor two lights with remains of straight hood mould, that to second floor has one light with chamfered edges containing fixed light with glazing bars.

East wing has a two-light mullioned window to second floor with chamfered mullions and surround. Mid-late C19 two-storey extension to main range extending from East wing and falling short of West wing; three mullioned windows; all of two lights with chamfered mullions and surrounds containing plate glass sashes; central six-panelled door, the upper two panels glazed with flat hood.

East elevation: Red brick with rusticated ashlar quoins and ashlar dressings; clay tile roof with hammer dressed ashlar end stack. Two storeys with floor band; five windows; glazing bar sashes; central six-panelled door with semi circular fanlight and Gibbs surround; moulded and bracketed eaves cornice.

Interior: Early C19 open well staircase with wrought iron balusters of square section; two C17 panelled doors; large segmental headed fireplace to main range; tie beam and principal rafter roofs with trouble purlins to West wing and central range; king post roof to East wing.
