Stable and cartshed approximately 10 yards north west of Townend Cottage.

Stable and cartshed. Mid C19. Perhaps by George Gilbert Scott. Coursed rubble with hammer dressed ashlar quoins and dressings; clay tile roof. One storey; four bays; symmetrical composition; fixed light windows to left and right; stable-type doors to left of centre and right of centre; two cart entries to centre separated by a brick pier of square section. Four pane fixed light window to west gable. Part of the picturesque Alpine style estate village created by Scott.
