North west of Townend

Stable and cartshed. Mid C19. Perhaps by George Gilbert Scott.
Coursed rubble with hammer dressed ashlar quoins and dressings; clay
tile roof. 1 storey; 4 bays; symmetrical composition; fixed light
windows to left and right; stable-type doors to left of centre and right
of centre; 2 cart entries to centre separated by a brick pier of square
section. 4 pane fixed light window to West gable. Part of the
picturesque Alpine style estate village created by Scott.
