Gate piers and wall. c1855. Perhaps by George Gilbert Scott. Ashlar
with coped parapet. Approximately 300 yard stretch of low wall, 2
courses high, interrupted between The Cottage (q.v.) and No. 2 Orchard
View (not included); 5 pairs of gate piers of square section with stop
chamfered edges; gabled caps with roll moulded ridge, those to Dove
Cottage (q.v.) truncated. An important part of the picturesque setting
of the model village created by Scott.
