of Beechenhill Farmhouse.

Former farmhouse and cowman's cottage and lofted cowhouse. Mid C19.
Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings to house and hind cottage, and
hammer dressed ashlar dressings to cowhouse; clay tile roof; cursed
and squared rubble ridge stack. L-shape plan; house and Cowmans cottage
to West and cowhouse to East forming the main range; extensions to
S.E. forming the foot of the L. Main Range: House and Cowmans cottage
occupy the left hand third of the range; 2 storeys; 3 windows; those
to left and centre pivoted, those to right casements; ground floor
centre window has 2 lights with central flat-faced mullion. Cowhouse
to right has 3 ground floor doors to left, right and centre and a
central loft door with 5 ventilation slits to the left hand side and 1
tothe right. East range: slightly lower lofted extension to left with
doors to left and centre and small loft opening to left; single storey
building adjoining to right has large board door.
